I accidentally used calculus today and it nearly killed me. I was trying to figure out how feasible it would be to get birds moving solely with the physics engine. I got it working using Proportional Integral Derivative Controllers (PID Controllers) which are a signal processing system often used in stuff like quadcopter auto-hovering. Not important! I ended up getting it to work. but I think it's too inefficient for a game that already has a ton of computing to do per-frame.
But I also made an orange asset, and that's what I'm choosing to focus on at the end of the day. Getting really close to the next build. Should be up within a day or two. Thanks for your patience!
